Paul Blasi was born in California and has since lived in beautiful areas of Utah, Colorado, and Arizona. In 1996, Paul's searching curiosity led him to embark on a self-taught exploration of melting and shaping glass. Intrigued and mesmerized at first by molten glass rotating in a flame, Paul strives to understand and work with the subtle life inherent in glass. Along the way, he has made functional art including aromatherapy and perfume bottles, oil lamps and chimes, as well as fantasy sculptures, marbles, and jewelry. Paul currently works and teaches in Cave Creek, AZ. He hopes for the continued presence of grace, inspiration and creativity in his life and his artwork.
