JAC Artist Ellen J.D. Roberts is perhaps best known for her wild and whimsical paintings of lounge kitch and atomic age roadside Americana, but she's also making a name for herself in the prestigious 'dress-your-dogs-up-in-silly-costumes-and-photograph-them' community.

Floyd's alter ego - (s)he goes by the name Florence Arizona

The travels and mis-adventures of her celebrated chihuahua, Floyd are already regionally infamous. But now Ms. Roberts ups the ante with outlandish wigs from www.kittywigs.com. Will the tomfoolery ever end? Let's hope not.

JAC Artist Judy Jaaskelainen to be featured in AWA Show

'Old Town Dancer' - watercolor by Judy Jaaskelainen

The Arizona Watercolor Associaton's 2008 Spring Exhibition will include two paintings by JAC artist Judy Jaaskelainen. The paintings, which are two of the seventy paintings selected from over 150 entries, are 'Old Town Dancer' and 'Sox to Match'.

The AWA's Spring Exhibition is April 4 - May 5, 2008. An opening reception will be held on April 9, 2008 at 6:30 pm at the Hope Community Church, 7901 East Sweetwater Ave., Scottsdale, AZ 85260.
